Synopsis

Continues the story of Fire Force Season 2

Following his confrontation with his brother Shou in the Nether, Shinra Kusakabe's resolve to become a hero who protects humanity from the Flame Hazard intensifies. His goals are to find a method to revert Infernals back to humans, expose the truths behind the Evangelist and the Adolla Burst, and rescue both his mother and Shou. Yet, Shinra is acutely aware of the daunting obstacles ahead, particularly the threat posed by the Evangelist. The Evangelist's plan is simple: collect the eight pillars, individuals gifted with the Adolla Burst, and sacrifice them to reenact the Great Cataclysm from 250 years ago. Upon learning from the First Pillar that another pillar is imminent, Shinra vows to defend his fellow pillars from the Evangelist. As a result, the Special Fire Force clashes fiercely with the Evangelist. Fighting alongside his team, Shinra presses on to uncover the truth regarding the Great Cataclysm, the essence of the Adolla Burst, and the enigma of human spontaneous combustion.

In this installment

Following their rigorous training under Benimaru Shinmon, Shinra Kusakabe and Arthur Boyle return to Special Fire Force Company 8, only to find no peace. Captain Akitaru Oubi has been arrested by the military police, now under the control of the White-Clad cult. Furthermore, Haumea, a member of the White-Clad and one of the eight pillars supporting the Adolla Burst, has infiltrated the leadership of the Tokyo Empire and integrated herself into the firefighting system. As a result, when Shinra and the rest of Company 8 set out on a mission to rescue their captain and free Tokyo, they are labeled as rebels.
