Summary
Arthur Boyle is a member of the 8th Fire Brigade Unit who joined immediately following Shinra’s designation. Born on July 10, he is a 17-year-old Cancer with an A blood type, standing 174 cm tall and weighing 64 kg. He typically keeps his eye-length bangs tied up to expose his forehead while on duty. His background involves being abandoned as a child after his parents fled following a business failure, a trauma that inspired him to adopt the self-proclaimed title of "knight." He uses this ostentatious label to justify his desire to protect others, a persona so strong that he refuses to wear a helmet during fire scenes. Arthur wields Excalibur, a flame-based sword that emits fire from the hilt of a bladeless handle, requiring him to master traditional swordsmanship techniques. He also carries disposable Mini Excalibur tools made from plastic plates for minor welding and cutting tasks. His combat effectiveness fluctuates with his mood and physical state; he can kill an opponent instantly when wielding Excalibur with his dominant hand, but inflicts minimal damage when using his non-dominant hand. Additionally, Vulcan provided him with a makeshift mount named Silver, which he refers to as a donkey. Despite his high combat power, Arthur struggles with intellectual tasks and is often dismissed as an idiot due to his tendency to make impossible mistakes and create misunderstandings.
