Synopsis

Teenager Yuuji Itadori enjoys a laid-back existence, splitting his days between the Occult Club's informal ghost hunting and caring for his ailing grandfather at the hospital. This mundane life shatters when he encounters a cursed object. Upon swallowing a finger belonging to Ryoumen Sukuna, the malevolent King of Curses, Yuuji is dragged into a perilous realm where curses born from negative human emotions roam free. As he comes to grips with his newfound powers, Yuuji enrolls at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, embarking on an irreversible journey as a jujutsu sorcerer.

In 2006, Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School buzzes with the constant bickering and intense debates of two inseparable friends, Satoru Gojou and Suguru Getou. Confident in their prowess as young, powerful Special Grade sorcerers, they are tasked with ensuring the safe transport of the composed Riko Amanai to the entity holding the essence of the jujutsu world. Yet, this mission thrusts them into a morally complex dilemma that threatens the delicate equilibrium between sorcerers and ordinary humans. Twelve years later, students and sorcerers stand as the primary defenders against a surging tide of high-level curses born from human negativity. As these curses grow stronger, they develop greater self-awareness and ambition, uniting under the guidance of a dangerous ancient cursed spirit. Their shared objective is to wipe out humanity and forge a world exclusively for those who wield cursed energy. To eliminate their greatest obstacle—the most powerful sorcerer, Gojou—they orchestrate an attack on Shibuya Station during Halloween. The sorcerers divide into groups, prepared to fight to the end to protect both innocent civilians and their own kind.
