Summary
Chousou is one of the three incarnated Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, alongside his siblings Kechizu and Eso, holding the titles of No. 1 through No. 3. Initially, he joined Kenjaku’s alliance with Mahito, but his loyalty shifted after uncovering that one of Kenjaku’s past identities was Noritoshi Kamo, the cruel father who created the Death Painting Wombs. Upon learning that Yuji Itadori is also a relative of Kenjaku, Chousou defected and aligned himself with Yuji, regarding him as a new younger brother. As a Death Painting Womb, Chousou is a hybrid of human and cursed spirit with a physical form that remains visible to non-sorcerers. He resembles a human male with long, stringy black hair styled in two high ponytails that point upward and outward. His face features small dark purple eyes, thin eyebrows, and a blood mark stretching from both sides of his face across the bridge of his nose. He can voluntarily make this mark bleed to generate ammunition for his cursed technique, and the mark’s shape alters when he employs Flowing Red Scale. His attire consists of a loose, light tan robe covering his torso, arms, and legs, layered under a purple gi-like vest shaped like a "V" that extends to his waist and groin. He also wears a round scarf matching his gi and brown boots. In the anime adaptation, his eyeshadow is violet and his hair appears light brown.
