While folklore describes him as a demon, he was actually a human Sorcerer who proved so formidable that sorcerers had to exert their utmost efforts to defeat him. Following his demise, his body resisted complete destruction, leaving behind twenty fingers preserved in grave wax. These remains endured through the ages as powerful Cursed Objects. In the modern era, Sukuna’s fragmented power became incarnated within Yuuji Itadori after the latter consumed one of his cursed fingers.
