Blade Dance of the Elementalers

Synopsis

In his travels to Areishia Spirit Academy, Kamito Kazehaya comes across Claire Rouge, who is found naked after a purification bath. Claire, a budding elementalist seeking to strengthen herself via a spirit contract, grows frustrated when Kamito accidentally forms the contract meant for her, despite the rule that only shrine maidens may enter such agreements. Nonetheless, Claire insists Kamito must serve as her spirit. At the academy, Kamito tries to avoid Claire and encounters Headmaster Greyworth Ciel Mais, who offers him the chance to join the school. Although the academy mainly trains shrine princesses, Kamito agrees to attend in hopes of learning about Restia Ashdoll, his former spirit. He also takes on the Headmaster's challenge to win the upcoming Blade Dance tournament in two months, where he must defeat the academy's most powerful elementalist, rumored to be linked to a darkness spirit.

Background

Seireitsukai no Blade Dance was streamed by Crunchyroll at the same time when it first premiered, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series in July 2014.
