Personal Information

Born in Aomori Prefecture, Japan, Ibuki Kido first aspired to become a seiyuu during her fourth year of elementary school after watching Nana Mizuki portray Utau Hoshina in Shugo Chara!. Her passion for the field deepened as she began reading manga aloud and recording solo performances of those readings. In 2010, Kido successfully cleared the Koe Tamago! seiyuu audition organized by the television program Tensai TV-kun MAX, which led to her voicing the lead character Keiko in the short anime Anime jan!. The following year, she reached the finals of the 36th HoriPro Talent Scout Caravan and subsequently joined the agency. Kido relocated to Tokyo in January 2012 to commence voice acting training, making her debut as an unnamed character in Amagami SS+ Plus. By October of that same year, she secured a lead role in Oniichan dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne!. In 2014, she teamed up with fellow seiyuu Erii Yamazaki to form the anisong duo every♥ing!. On November 14, 2024, she announced her marriage.
