In "The Ambition of Oda Nobuna," Yoshiharu Sagara is transported into the midst of a chaotic Sengoku period battle and is saved by the legendary Hideyoshi Toyotomi. As Hideyoshi lies dying, he asks Yoshiharu to become a daimyo and preserve the course of history. Yoshiharu then meets Nobuna Oda, discovering she is a female version of the famous Nobunaga Oda. He realizes he is in an alternate world where Japan's historical warlords are all cute young girls. Yoshiharu decides to serve as Nobuna's advisor, aiming to correct the timeline and find a way back home. Using his knowledge of the game Nobunaga's Ambition to predict future events and influence outcomes, he assists the charming generals of the Oda clan in their campaigns. His goal is to help his lord achieve her ambitions while also winning the affections of many women.
