Summary
Nobukatsu is Nobuna's younger brother, with whom she has a strained relationship. He previously attempted a failed rebellion against his elder sister but was subsequently forgiven. In episode 2, he launches another uprising, which is peacefully resolved without bloodshed due to Sagara's quick thinking. Just as Nobuna is about to execute him, Sagara intervenes and convinces her to show mercy. Consequently, Nobukatsu pledges to abandon his rebellious ambitions and adopts the name Tsuda Nobusumi. Later, in episode 7, Nobuna forces him to assume the identity of Oichi, dresses him in female attire, and presents him to Asai as her bride.
