The Honor Student at Magic High School

Synopsis

In a world where "true magic," once thought to be mere fantasy, has become fully integrated into global technology over the last hundred years, First National Magic University Affiliated High School—commonly called First High—is one of Japan's top nine magical schools. The academy welcomes two talented siblings, Miyuki and Tatsuya Shiba. Students are divided into Course 1 and Course 2 based on their entrance exam results, with Course 1 students, called "Blooms," often looking down on Course 2 students, who are referred to as "Weeds." Though Tatsuya has remarkable abilities, he is placed in Course 2, while his sister Miyuki, an honor student, is in Course 1. Miyuki hopes to show First High that her brother, despite his placement, is truly one of the most powerful magicians in the world. The story of Mahouka Koukou no Yuutousei is told from the perspectives of Miyuki and other key female characters, offering a new viewpoint on the tale originally told in Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei.
