Synopsis
Three years after the war between the Royal Empire and the Republic of Frost ended, both nations continue their slow recovery. Alice L. Malvin commands the Pumpkin Scissors, an imperial military unit dedicated to humanitarian assistance. While aiding a village under attack by rogue soldiers, she encounters Randal Oland, a scarred former soldier burdened by his past yet possessing a gentle nature. Impressed by the Pumpkin Scissors' mission, Randal decides to join their efforts. During combat, a mysterious blue lantern triggers a trance in Randal, unleashing extraordinary strength that allows him to overwhelm the enemy forces. Although Alice is troubled by his alarming transformation, she trusts his inherent kindness makes him a worthwhile addition to the team and welcomes him into the Pumpkin Scissors.
