Synopsis
Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka, a bored fourteen-year-old boy, has his ordinary life turned upside down when he rescues a peculiar dog named Beck from a group of tormentors. The dog belongs to Ryuusuke "Ray" Minami, a sixteen-year-old guitarist who used to play in a rock band. When Koyuki later runs into Ray at a diner, Ray invites him to his former band's rehearsal space. There, Ray plays guitar with incredible skill, deeply impressing Koyuki. Captivated by the energy and excitement of rock music, Koyuki decides to learn the guitar and help Ray fulfill his dream of creating the greatest rock band ever. Alongside Ray's younger sister Maho and other new friends, they form the band BECK. The story follows their journey through successes and struggles as they work to become famous across Japan.
