Summary
As the lead singer of BECK, Chiba is the essential element Ryusuke sought to recruit for the group. His persona, fashion, and look were modeled after Zack De La Rocha from Rage Against The Machine. Compared to Koyuki, Chiba’s vocal style leans more toward punk and rock, which aligns with the musical direction of most of the band’s tracks. He is also the one who came up with the band’s name, BECK, after observing Ryusuke’s dog for a short time. Additionally, he has a habit of picking his nose.
