Synopsis

In 2027, one year after the non-nuclear World War IV, a bombing in Newport City kills a major arms dealer connected to the secretive 501 Organization. Public Security Section Chief Daisuke Aramaki assigns Motoko Kusanagi, a talented hacker with full-body cybernetic prosthetics, to look into the explosion.
