During summer break, Keima plans to dedicate himself fully to gaming. But an old acquaintance, the shy girl Tenri, moves back into the area—and she carries a lost soul inside her. It falls to Keima and Elysia to discover the secrets hidden in her heart.

In "The World God Only Knows: Goddesses," Keima Katsuragi, the "God of Conquest," begins a new task after freeing many women from runaway spirits. His latest goal is to find the Jupiter Sisters, goddesses who once imprisoned Old Hell. Diana, a goddess living inside his childhood friend Tenri Ayukawa, tells him these sisters now reside in the hearts of girls Keima previously helped. Reuniting Diana with her sisters could give them enough power to permanently banish the runaway spirits, ending Keima's role as an exorcist. Though he is initially reluctant, a tragic event involving one of the host girls forces Keima to act. Keima learns that a secret group called Vintage is hunting the goddesses, making him rush to gather the sisters before it is too late. More driven than ever, he enlists demons Elsie and Haqua to help him win back the hearts of the girls he once conquered. This journey becomes difficult as Keima faces the results of his past conquests.
