In Hell's Paradise, Gabimaru the Hollow, a weary ninja awaiting execution, meets his fate with resignation, yet every attempt to end his life inexplicably fails. Sagiri Yamada Asaemon, a young scion of a renowned executioner lineage, is tasked with carrying out the sentence but declines, realizing that Gabimaru's profound devotion to his wife prevents his true demise. Sagiri proposes a chance at redemption: if Gabimaru can secure the Elixir of Life from the enigmatic island of Shinsekyo for the shogun, he shall be pardoned. Although the island holds a terrifying reputation where no traveler returns unchanged, Gabimaru joins nine other condemned criminals on this harrowing expedition, fueled by the desire to one day peacefully reunite with his beloved.

In this installment

In search of the elusive elixir of immortality, the group reaches the fortress of the island's monstrous sovereign, the "Tensen." Survival and escape from the island depend on cooperation among everyone, regardless of whether they are condemned criminals or their executioners. Meanwhile, the shogunate sends more forces to the Immortal Realm island under the command of Shugen Yamada Asayemon. Among the new arrivals is the Ishigakure clan, which has a past with Gabimaru. With the urgent need to acquire the elixir and depart the island, Gabimaru and company engage the Tensen, leading to an all-out conflict between humans and immortals.
