Summary
Gabimaru the Hollow, originally named Saku, is the primary protagonist of the manga Hell's Planet. A shinobi assassin from Iwagakure and one of the few death row inmates dispatched to Kotaku by the shogun to obtain the Elixir of Life, he is also known by the aliases Gabi and Nekomaru. Born with the innate ability to kill, he earned the moniker "the Hollow" for his efficiency in eliminating victims within seconds without guilt or mercy. Despite his calm, serious demeanor and habit of speaking only when necessary, Gabimaru harbors deep emotions that he keeps buried. This true personality emerges around his wife, to whom he is deeply devoted and in love. He is shy and easily teased by her, and she is the only person he fully trusts, having taught him that he is not empty. Although he initially viewed his arranged marriage as a mere order and struggled with suicidal tendencies, his desire to reunite with his wife ultimately restored his will to live.
