Synopsis
Set in the 2020s, a time when electric vehicles have become the norm for everyday transportation, the MFG motorsport event keeps the passion for traditional gasoline-powered cars alive. The competition attracts a massive online audience of 30 million viewers, with hundreds of eager participants vying for a spot among the elite Godly Fifteen and the grand prize of 100 million yen. One such contender is 19-year-old Kanata Rivington. After graduating from a renowned racing academy in England, Kanata competes in the MFG under the pseudonym "Kanata Katagiri." Despite his rivals' extravagant cars, Kanata relies on a modest Toyota 86 GT, passed down from a previous MFG competitor, which puts him at a disadvantage. With advice from a member of the Godly Fifteen, Kanata continues to pursue his real objective: locating his estranged father. His unique driving style catches attention, closely mirroring that of a former legendary racer.
