Continues the story of Neighborhood Stories
In "Neighborhood Stories," sixteen-year-old Mikako Kouda dreams of launching her own clothing line and attends the prestigious Yazawa Art School alongside her childhood friend Tsutomu Yamaguchi. Although they share playful moments and a deep bond that frequently makes others think they are a couple, both Mikako and Tsutomu insist they view each other only as friends. Their relationship takes a turn when Tsutomu begins to resemble Ken Nakagawa, the charismatic lead singer of the popular band Manbou. As Tsutomu attracts more attention from girls, the two must reconsider their connection and what it signifies for them regarding romance and friendship.

While walking home from school, Yukari Hayasaka is approached by an odd man with spiky blonde hair, a spiked collar, and many piercings, who studies her closely. Startled, she runs away and crashes into a striking woman with lavender hair and a floral design around one eye. Overcome, Yukari faints and wakes up in a place called the Atelier. The strangers are fashion designers from the prestigious Yazawa Art Academy, eager for Yukari to model for their brand at the academy's upcoming showcase. Despite their eagerness, Yukari refuses and leaves the Atelier, accidentally leaving her school ID behind. George Koizumi, the lead designer, finds the ID and becomes convinced that Yukari is the perfect model for their collection. Determined to have her, he refuses to give up easily. Though Yukari had never given modeling much thought before, could spending time with these eccentric designers turn out to be fun? Or might she find herself swept away into a world of creativity and passion?
