Summary
Tsutomu Yamaguchi is Mikako’s childhood friend and neighbor who attends Yazagaku. He has harbored deep feelings for Mikako for a long time. After searching for his true passion, he becomes an apprentice to Mikako’s father and learns the craft of photography. Tsutomu bears an eerie resemblance to Ken Nakagawa, the lead singer of the popular band Manbou and a character from "Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai." This similarity often leads to mistaken identity and attracts rabid fangirls. Mikako frequently refers to him as a monkey. Along with Ayumi and others, he helps form Akindo, a street market shop and club. He also appears in Paradise Kiss working as a photographer for Yukari Hayasaka.
