Synopsis

During the Chopin piano competition, Kai Ichinose, Shuuhei Amamiya, and numerous driven musicians from across the globe push to reach the highest level of achievement. The contest is tough, with strict judges selecting a winner from among the highly skilled participants. Even celebrated prodigies must contend with the possibility of being eliminated early. Competitors enter for different reasons—some seek financial gain, some aim to fulfill family expectations, and others simply want their music to connect with audiences. The true champion, however, will be the pianist who best captures the essence of Frédéric Chopin’s works for future generations. As the competition grows more intense, bonds of rivalry, friendship, and family support are tested, and each musician discovers their unique musical identity.
