Summary
Reiko is the mother of Kai. She is a prostitute who dislikes her job and men. Born and raised at the Edge of the Forest, she loves the sea but has never seen it, which is why she named her son Kai. She gave birth to Kai at age 15, making her 25 at the start of the manga, though she appears quite young.
