The Piano Forest

Synopsis

In "The Piano Forest," Shuuhei Amamiya, a newly transferred student, and Kai Ichinose, a rough kid from a tough neighborhood, meet. After arriving at Moriwaki Elementary, Shuuhei brags about his piano skills, which angers the school bully, Daigaku Kanehira. Daigaku challenges Shuuhei to find and play a supposedly haunted piano hidden deep in the nearby forest. Taking on this challenge, Shuuhei comes across Kai, who claims the piano belongs to him and says only he can play it. Mesmerized by Kai's performance of a stunning medley on the hidden instrument, Shuuhei earns not only his own respect but also that of their music teacher, Sousuke Ajino. As a result, Kai is invited to start formal piano lessons.
