Synopsis
Kanzaki Nao's father named her with the hope she would embody the ideal of honesty. She has surpassed his expectations, becoming known as a girl of extreme, almost naive honesty. This makes her the worst possible participant for the high-stakes Liar Game, where victory depends on deceiving opponents for money and defeat brings enormous debt. Yet a box containing one hundred million yen and a participation card still arrives at her home, and she is quickly tricked out of the entire amount. Learning that Shinichi Akiyama, a master swindler who drove a major corporation into bankruptcy, is being released from prison, Nao seeks him out for assistance. Thus, the two are pulled into the dark, greed-driven, and deceitful world of the Liar Game.
