Synopsis
A young Taiwanese assassin known by the codename "Glass Heart" takes her own life by leaping from a building, impaling her heart on a metal fence. She is miraculously saved through a heart transplant. During her recovery, she begins experiencing strange dreams that compel her to travel to Japan in search of the heart's donor, who turns out to be Kaori Makimura, the former partner of City Hunter Ryo Saeba. The author stated in the first tankoubon volume that Angel Heart shares the same characters as City Hunter but is not a continuation. The events take place in a parallel universe, so it has no connection to City Hunter.
