Summary

Agumon is a compact, stout dinosaur-like Digimon best recognized for his role as the partner of Taichi Yagami in the Digimon Adventure anime. In this series, he displays a personality that is remarkably brave, relaxed, and humorous. His evolutionary chain includes Greymon at the Champion level, MetalGreymon at the Ultimate stage, and WarGreymon at the Mega level. Additionally, he can achieve Omnimon through DNA Digivolution when paired with MetalGarurumon. The lineage also features two distinct subspecies: VictoryGreymon, an Ultimate form that first appeared in the Digimon Next manga and various games, and BlitzGreymon, a Mega variant originating from Digimon Adventure: that evolves from MetalGreymon: Alterous Mode and serves as the final form of the Greymon species. In the Digimon Savers series, Agumon receives a redesigned appearance, becoming taller with more teeth, longer claws, broader forearms, and red training bracers. He is partnered with Masaru Daimon in this iteration, evolving into GeoGreymon at the Champion stage, RizeGreymon at the Ultimate level, and ShineGreymon or its ShineGreymon Burst Mode variant at the Mega stage.
