Summary
Ku Fei is a blonde-haired, green-eyed Chinese girl born on March 16, 1989, with type A blood and seat number 12. She is an energetic and cheerful martial artist who specializes in Xingyi Quan and Bagua Zhang, with knowledge of Baji Quan and Xinyi Liuhe Zhang. As a member of the Chinese Martial Arts Research Society, she possesses excellent motor skills and a reputation for defeating challengers in the style of Akane Tendo. Her dislikes include Chao and the professor's new inventions, while she enjoys training, strong men, and Nikuman. Despite her combat prowess, she struggles academically, earning the nickname Baka Yellow from the Baka Rangers due to her poor Japanese and low grades. After the events of the Kyoto trip in volume 6, she enters a daily master-student training relationship with Negi. According to creator Ken Akamatsu, while she is the weakest of the 3A Martial Arts Elite Four compared to Setsuna, Kaede, and Mana, this is solely because she relies on pure martial arts rather than magic.
