World's Strongest Witch Adds Hanazawa & Naganawa Ahead of Oct. 7

Fall’s isekai roster just got louder. The team behind Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita—better known in English as The World’s Strongest Witch—has locked two heavyweight seiyuu for its expanding ensemble: Kana Hanazawa as Aries and Maria Naganawa as Lulu, revealed alongside a second character promo.
They join a lineup already led by Azusa Tachibana as free-spirited cheat-skill mage Lorna Hermit, with Fairouz Ai and Honoka Inoue among the previously confirmed voices. The new pair slots into the guild-and-adventure orbit that surrounds Lorna’s “only I can see the strategy guide” romp through a fantasy world that treats internet slang like high magic.
Broadcast plans are firm: the series opens October 7 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with BS11 and TV Aichi following on October 8. Jouji Furuta directs at Bridge and Aisle, Shouji Yonemura handles series composition, and Yuuki Morimoto designs the cast—keeping the Square Enix light novel’s breezy chaos on track for a fall landing.
For fans of Hanazawa’s polished charm or Naganawa’s scene-stealing energy (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid), the timing is deliberate: cast heat, character PV, and a fixed premiere week all dropping as summer winds down. Lorna’s “world’s strongest” label was already a joke waiting to land; the voice booth just got the punchline ready.
