Gachiakuta Season 2 Drops First-Look PV After AX & Taipei Previews

The scrapyard is roaring back into focus. The official Gachiakuta site has streamed a Season 2 first-look promotional video, stitching together early cuts of new episode footage that convention crowds got first at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles and Taiwan’s Comic Exhibition earlier this month.

Alongside the teaser, the production posted limited-edition flyer art of Cleaners Zanka (AX) and Enjin (Taipei)—sharp character shots that double as a fan thank-you and a statement of intent. No premiere window yet, but the message is clear: the Pit isn’t done with Rudo.

Season 1, which hit Japanese airwaves in July 2025 under director Fumihiko Suganuma at Bones Film, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko, became a breakout for Kei Urana’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine series. Crunchyroll carried the simulcast and same-day English dub across a huge footprint, and the show walked away from the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards with Best New Series, Best Character Design, and Best Background Art.

Kodansha’s English manga line continues to climb—volume 19 shipped mid-July—while stage and game projects keep the brand loud. For now, the first-look PV is pure fuel: more of the grimy action, graffiti-soaked world, and Cleaner camaraderie that made Gachiakuta one of last year’s must-watches.
