Hideo Ozu works as an editor for a seedy adult video company, always harboring a dream of becoming a motion picture director. This system creates a variety of scenarios intended to test couples by handing out random cards that illustrate potential marital troubles. For example, Kazuto and Valkyrie must prepare a meal together, Raine and Kazuto's sister face the struggle of living in poverty, and Akina and Hydra undergo a wedding rehearsal, each taking on the parts of bride and groom. The pairs encounter a series of improbable and mismatched situations designed to measure how well they fit together.

An anarchistic nation that is said to dominate the world exists on a massive island called Moekko Island. This is where the final touches are applied to AC Company's android combat maids (who resemble beautiful young girls), and where those maids receive their communication training. A new maid named Rinia arrives on the island for training—she is a young-looking girl who has lost all her memories. She tries very hard to impress the owner of Moekko Island, but only ends up causing a lot of trouble around the mansion. Takahiro, the owner of Moekko Island, is a depressed young man who has also lost his memories. He is seen as a very unhappy person and believes Rinia will only be a source of trouble. As time passes, Takahiro slowly grows attached to Rinia's earnest attempts to help, and thus a beautiful relationship begins on the quiet island.

To maintain oceanic peace, the PKN was established, comprising advanced battleships from various nations. However, during its founding ceremony, the organization was ambushed by the mysterious USR, a group plotting global domination. The PKN fleet proved no match for the USR's submarine, the UX, commanded by Admiral Red. Meanwhile, the PKN assembled a fleet led by the Great Guardian, the United States' latest battleship. Yet, the assaults by Submarine U were so severe that the entire fleet was defeated. The 707 then appeared on the scene. Upon spotting the 707, Red was delighted to reunite with his rival and immediately engaged in combat. Managing to flee the submarine attack, the crew concealed the 707 within a valley. However, Red attempted to collapse the valley, intending to bury the submarine in a torrent of mud. The 707 barely escaped the debris and ended up trapped in a crater. Unfortunately, this location contained a layer of pure water where the submarine could not surface. At that critical moment, a barrage of torpedoes was launched directly at the 707.
