During a meal with her close friend Ayaka Uehara, high school student Hibiki Sakura is teased about putting on weight. After failing to stick with her solo exercise routine, she signs up at the newly opened Silverman Gym. There, she runs into Akemi Souryuuin, the school's idol and student council president. Hibiki soon discovers the gym is packed with elite bodybuilders, and Akemi turns out to be a hardcore muscle fanatic. Initially put off, Hibiki is won over by the trainer Naruzou Machio and decides to become a member. Her impulsive decision launches her into the struggles of her new fitness journey.

United by their goal to win the prestigious Kandagawa Cup, the team prepares to take on the biggest stage in the sport.
