Edo once thrived on the spirit and ambition of samurai from all over the country. But after feudal Japan surrendered to powerful alien invaders called the "Amanto," those dreams seem out of reach. The once-influential shogunate has been rebuilt as a puppet government, and a new law quickly bans all swords in public. Enter Gintoki Sakata, a quirky silver-haired man who always carries a wooden sword and still lives as a samurai despite the ban. As the founder of Yorozuya, a small business that takes on odd jobs, Gintoki often sets out to help others—though usually in bizarre and unpredictable ways. With the help of Shinpachi Shimura, a glasses-wearing boy supposedly learning the samurai path; Kagura, a tomboyish girl with superhuman strength and a bottomless stomach; and Sadaharu, their giant pet dog who loves biting people's heads, the Yorozuya encounter everything from alien royalty to clashes with local gangs in the ever-changing world of Edo.

Most people dismiss the existence of aliens, time travelers, and espers, and ordinary high schooler Kyon is no different. His mundane perspective is shattered on the first day of school when he encounters Haruhi Suzumiya, a girl determined to overturn his reality. During class introductions, Haruhi loudly declares her disdain for mundane individuals and her desire to encounter the supernatural. Upon discovering that the school lacks a club dedicated to paranormal phenomena, she impulsively forms the Spreading Fun all Over the World with Haruhi Suzumiya Brigade, commonly referred to as the SOS Brigade. Haruhi then recruits Kyon along with three other students: the stoic bookworm Yuki Nagato, the timid senior Mikuru Asahina, and the ever-cheerful Itsuki Koizumi. Although they appear ordinary, each member harbors secrets connected to Haruhi’s eccentric nature. Drawn into her chaotic world, Kyon joins the SOS Brigade on various adventures that gradually reveal the true nature of their enigmatic leader.

Naota Nandaba is a typical sixth-grader in a town where nothing exciting ever occurs. After his older brother Tasuku heads to America to play baseball, Naota is left to manage everything Tasuku abandoned—from his top bunk to his ex-girlfriend Mamimi Samejima, who keeps hanging around Naota ever since Tasuku departed. But Naota's dull routine is about to be turned upside down: enter Haruko Haruhara, a Vespa-riding, bass-guitar-wielding, pink-haired maniac whose first meeting with Naota ends with tire marks on his back and a giant horn sprouting from his head. Although he only wants some calm, once Haruko moves into his family's house, Naota gets swept into the middle of the most epic fight for control that Earth—and maybe the entire universe—has ever witnessed.

Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Kagura are back as the perpetually broke but cheerful Yorozuya team. In an alternate-history Edo where swords are outlawed and Japan has been taken over by alien invaders, they take on any odd job to get by. But Shinpachi and Kagura still haven't seen a single payment—could Gin-chan really be blowing all the money on pachinko? One night, after stumbling home drunk, Gintoki witnesses an alien spaceship crash nearby. A dying crew member crawls out and hands him a strange clock-shaped device, warning that it holds immense power and must be kept safe. Mistaking it for his alarm clock, Gintoki smashes the thing the next morning—only to find the entire world outside his apartment frozen in time. With Kagura and Shinpachi in tow, he sets out to get the device repaired; but as always, nothing comes easy for the Yorozuya gang. Blending irreverent humor with heartfelt drama, Gintama's fourth season throws its heroes into both their most ridiculous escapades and their most dangerous threats yet.

Rito Yuuki is a bashful sixteen-year-old boy who has secretly liked his classmate Haruna Sairenji ever since middle school but has never mustered the bravery to tell her. His life is thrown into chaos one night when a mysterious, naked girl lands in his bathtub. He discovers that this intruder is Lala Satalin Deviluke, an alien princess on the run from an arranged political marriage. Despite hailing from a vast galactic empire, Lala proposes to the ordinary Rito to avoid her forced union. To LOVE-Ru chronicles Rito’s efforts to handle the turmoil set off by Lala’s presence. His attempts to court Haruna are perpetually disrupted by an ever-growing array of attractive girls, leading to a romantic comedy filled with slapstick gags, risqué humor, and absurd, physics-defying scenarios.

Japan created the Infinite Stratos, a powered exoskeleton that only women can pilot, and its immense destructive power led to a global treaty banning its military use. When fifteen-year-old Ichika Orimura is discovered to be the only male capable of operating an IS, he is forced to attend the Infinite Stratos Academy—an all-girls boarding school where students train as IS pilots. There, Ichika reunites with childhood friends Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang, and also grows close to Cecilia Alcott, the representative of the United Kingdom. Under the strict supervision of Chifuyu Orimura, his older sister and their homeroom teacher, Ichika and his female classmates must use their abilities to defend themselves and their school from the dangers that arise during their exciting school life.

A year after disappearing, Shinpachi Shimura comes back to Edo, only to find his fellow Yorozuya members, Gintoki and Kagura, acting like total strangers. Panicked by this confusion, he flees the headquarters and realizes that everyone in the city has undergone bizarre changes in both looks and personality. The most unbelievable twist is that his sister Otae is now married to the Shinsengumi chief and persistent stalker Isao Kondou and is expecting their first baby. Confused but compelled by Otae and Kondou, Shinpachi joins the Shinsengumi, where he uncovers even more shocking alterations within the group. When he learns that Vice Chief Toushirou Hijikata has stayed exactly the same, he teams up with the unchanging officer to restore Edo to its former state. Continuing with its signature mix of crude humor, witty parodies, and cheeky references, Gintama' takes the Yorozuya crew through another series of chaotic adventures in the lively, alien-infused setting of Edo.

Thanks to the energetic president Haruhi Suzumiya and the SOS Brigade, Kyon has recently found himself dragged into a series of adventures. Though he had long ago rejected the idea of the supernatural, being forced to join the club has introduced him to events that defy logical explanation. These escapades are shared with the timid Mikuru Asahina, the reserved Yuki Nagato, and the perpetually optimistic Itsuki Koizumi. Regardless of the setting, whether it is summer vacation or a school festival, activities organized by the club and Haruhi always take a bizarre turn.

The virtual realm known as OZ has achieved global popularity, serving as a hub for diverse activities like sports and shopping via user-customized avatars. Its robust encryption provides near-impenetrable security, safeguarding personal data and fostering such societal reliance on this simulated reality that the system is even trusted to recover the unmanned asteroid explorer, Arawashi. Kenji Koiso, a seventeen-year-old mathematics prodigy and part-time OZ moderator, is invited by his crush, Natsuki Shinohara, to join a summer excursion. However, he is unaware that his role involves posing as her fiancé. Upon arriving at the family estate, which is hosting celebrations for the great-grandmother’s ninetieth birthday, Kenji receives a cryptic message from an unknown source. Although he successfully deciphers the code, his mathematical prowess inadvertently triggers a crisis that places the entire planet in peril.

When computers begin to resemble humans, does the concept of love remain unchanged? Hideki Motosuwa is a young boy from the countryside working hard to pass his college entrance exams. Coming from a poor family, he can barely afford his everyday expenses, let alone the latest trend: Persocoms—personal computers that look exactly like human beings. One evening on his way home, he stumbles upon an abandoned Persocom. After taking her home and successfully turning her on, she appears to be faulty, able to say only one word: "Chii," which becomes her name. Unlike other Persocoms, Chii cannot download data onto her hard drive, forcing Hideki to teach her about the world the old-fashioned way while simultaneously studying for his college exams. Together with his friends, Hideki attempts to solve the mystery behind Chii, who might be a "Chobit"—an urban legend about special units capable of genuine human emotions and thoughts, along with love for their owner. But can a romance truly develop between a Persocom and a human?

Tomoki Sakurai has been waking up in tears from dreams about an angel ever since he was a child. Worried about him, his childhood friend Sohara Mitsuki gets help from Eishirou Sugata, an eccentric sky enthusiast. Eishirou theorizes that the dreams are connected to the New World, a mysterious floating phenomenon that has scientists baffled. After forming the initial members of the New World Discovery Club, Eishirou organizes a meeting to watch the sky. But Tomoki's peaceful daily life is turned upside down when a strange girl falls from above and calls him her master. Heaven's Lost Property follows the everyday adventures of the New World Discovery Club as they gradually unravel the mysteries behind the Angeloids that have arrived on Earth.

Several months after the events of Steins;Gate, Rintarou Okabe and his circle of friends are invited to accompany their acquaintance Faris NyanNyan, who is taking part in a Rai-Net battle event in the United States. While there, they reconnect with an old colleague: Kurisu Makise, who has been experiencing fragmented memories of events from other world lines in the form of dreams. She confronts Okabe and asks him whether these events—especially the incidents between the two of them—truly occurred.

The bizarre encounters between the residents of Planet Deviluke (led by the royal family's female members) and the people of Earth (chiefly represented by the perpetually exhausted Rito Yuuki) continue to intensify, pushing the situation further into chaos. After younger princesses Nana and Momo transfer to Earth School, where big sister Lala can theoretically keep an eye on them, things should be smooth sailing. However, when Momo decides to add a dash of sisterly affection to supplement Rito and Lala's relationship, Lala wastes no time dismantling any harem ambitions. Just then, Yami, the Golden Darkness, arrives with all the subtlety of a supernova, accompanied by an army of brainwashed high school students. This ensures Rito's life becomes more miserable than a black hole at a family picnic—unless a certain half-demonic princess applies a dose of Devilukean whoop-ass to exactly those celestial bodies.

Dandy is a cool, pompadour-sporting guy who travels across the galaxy hunting down rare aliens for cash, all so he can hit his favorite spot: BooBies, the greatest diner in the universe. Roaming the stars in his trusty vessel, the Aloha Oe, he's joined by two equally quirky pals: QT, a robot built from a vacuum cleaner, and Meow, a cat-like alien. Though his work is exciting, it's never straightforward, and each new day brings a totally different, wild adventure. Dandy and his crew find themselves caught up in dangerous missions, romantic mishaps, and out-of-this-world situations—all while trying to evade the evil scientist Dr. Gel of the Gogol Empire.

Mahiro Yasaka is an ordinary high school student whose routine life is shattered when a monstrous creature suddenly attacks him. Just in time, he is saved by Nyaruko, a silver-haired girl who reveals herself to be Nyarlathotep, a shape-shifting deity from H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. She claims the Space Defense Agency sent her to Earth because the attacker, a Nightgaunt alien, intended to abduct and enslave Mahiro. Though she rescues him, the Lovecraftian entity instantly becomes deeply infatuated with Mahiro and forces her way into his home, much to his irritation. Soon, two more figures from the same fictional lore join her: Cthuko, a girl who is obsessively in love with Nyaruko, and Hasuta, a young boy often mistaken for a beautiful girl. These three eccentric aliens constantly protect Mahiro from various extraterrestrial threats to Earth and himself, while simultaneously wreaking havoc on his daily life and turning his existence into a living nightmare.

During Gintoki Sakata's absence, the Yorozuya gang found a new leader in Kintoki, his golden-haired double. To reclaim his former role, Gintoki must rely on those around him—a difficult task when nobody remembers him at all! Between Kintoki and Gintoki, who will ultimately seize the position of main character? Later, the Yorozuya travel back to the red-light district of Yoshiwara to help an elderly courtesan search for her long-lost lover. Though the district is no longer chained beneath the earth's surface, the trio soon uncover the tragic pasts of Yoshiwara's residents that still linger. Through a series of flashbacks, this mission sees the Yorozuya witness everlasting love and protect it with all their hearts and souls.

Rito Yuuki's life offers him little peace, as he constantly finds himself in embarrassing situations with the girls around him. Though his feelings remain devoted to his childhood friend Haruna, his emotions toward Lala—the alien princess who came to Earth to make him her husband—grow more confusing by the day. Matters escalate when Lala's younger twin sisters, Momo and Nana, arrive on Earth to meet their future brother-in-law and inevitably take up residence with Rito. To make things worse, Yami, a living weapon, begins her own relentless pursuit of him. Torn between conflicting affections, the physical consequences of his reputation as a pervert, and the deadly threats of an assassin, Rito's everyday life is anything but calm.

After joining the anti-bakufu resistance, Gintoki and his crew go into hiding alongside Katsura and his Joui rebels. The Yorozuya are soon contacted by Nobume Imai and two members of the Kiheitai, who inform them that the Harusame pirates have turned against 7th Division Captain Kamui and their former ally Takasugi. The Kiheitai hire Gintoki to locate Takasugi, who has been missing since his ship was ambushed during a Harusame attack. Nobume also reveals a shocking truth about the Tendoushuu, a secret organization manipulating many factions, and their leader Utsuro, a mysterious figure who bears a striking resemblance to Gintoki’s former teacher. Boarding Sakamoto’s spaceship, the Yorozuya and Katsura head to Rakuyou, Kagura’s home planet, where various factions have gathered and tensions are rising. Long-standing grudges, political conflicts, and the Tendoushuu’s sinister overarching plan all converge into a massive, decisive battle on Rakuyou.

Makoto Niwa keeps a meticulous tally of the positive and negative youthful experiences he accrues, as though grading his own life. When his parents move overseas, he relocates to a new town to stay with his aunt, embracing the change and anticipating a fresh start. However, as ordinary as he had imagined his adolescence would be, he never factored in the existence of a mysterious long-lost cousin. Upon arriving at his aunt's home, he discovers the cousin he never knew about: Erio Touwa. Though she is Makoto's age, she could not be more different: Erio chooses to spend all day wrapped in a futon rather than attend school. She even claims to be an alien, and with a speech pattern and personality to match, any hope of Makoto's dreamed-of normal life is immediately dashed. As he encounters a series of other eccentric girls in the town, Makoto must confront the possibility of seeing his youth points in the red. Yet he might be surprised by just how exciting an abnormal youth can be.

Sakurai Tomoki has adapted to his life alongside the two angeloids, Ikaros and Nymph, and is thoroughly enjoying it. Nevertheless, he is plagued by strange dreams and enlists the aid of his friends to uncover their origin. Nymph creates a device that allows humans, though not angeloids, to enter others' dreams. Although the gadget initially malfunctions, the group eventually succeeds in accessing what should have been Tomoki's dream, only to find that something is deeply amiss. Later, a meteor crashes into the location of the large cherry blossom tree where Tomoki originally found Ikaros. From the wreckage emerges a heavily endowed blonde angeloid wielding a massive sword, who immediately begins hunting for Tomoki.

The emotionless assassin Golden Darkness returns to explore the secrets of her new existence, while the sinister Nemesis manipulates her younger sister Mea from the shadows. Along with their newly found mother, Tearju, this once-divided family becomes the focus of everyone's attention. Meanwhile, Princess Momo's Harem Plan falters as Rito struggles to confess to his longtime crush Haruna, who has developed her own feelings. But beneath the surface, not all is calm; an evil force lurks within the harmless chaos, threatening to overshadow the love, joy, and bonds of Rito and his harem. Only the power of love can hope to dispel the darkness.

At a film premiere, Gintoki catches a movie pirate and examines the camera's footage, only to be thrown into a desolate, post-apocalyptic Edo where a deadly illness known as the "White Plague" has devastated humanity. The supposed pirate turns out to be an android time machine, sending Gintoki five years into the future. His Yorozuya partners, Shinpachi and Kagura, have split up and become hardened lone vigilantes, while Gintoki himself has been missing for years, vanishing after leaving a cryptic note in his journal. Donning a disguise from the android time machine, Gintoki clumsily reunites the Yorozuya crew to probe the White Plague, and soon realizes that the secret to rescuing the future lies in the shadows of his own past. Determined to face a powerful enemy, he makes a crucial realization—with a motley group of friends and allies beside him, he doesn't have to face the fight alone.

After being rescued from a bus hijacking by the masked hero Strange Juice, Yuuta Iridatsu ends up with his soul separated from his body and entrusted to a perverse cat spirit named Chiranosuke. As a ghost, Yuuta drifts around his home, the Korai House, hoping to reclaim his body while observing the other tenants: Meika Daihatsu, a gifted inventor; Mikatan Narugino, a cheerful idol; Ito Hikiotani, a shut-in NEET; and Rabura Chichibu, a spiritual medium. When he accidentally glimpses Narugino's underwear, Chiranosuke explains that Yuuta gains immense strength upon seeing panties. But if he sees another pair while still a spirit, his power will trigger an asteroid collision with Earth, destroying the world and killing his friends. Punch Line follows Yuuta as he uncovers the secrets of Korai House, its inhabitants, and a villainous group bent on global annihilation.
