Synopsis
Parasitic aliens from space descend upon Earth, infiltrating human hosts by taking over their brains and turning them into predators. Seventeen-year-old Shinichi Izumi manages to avoid full possession when a parasite named Migi fails to reach his brain, instead taking control of his right hand. Unable to achieve its objective, Migi must rely on Shinichi to survive, forcing them into an uneasy partnership as they face off against other dangerous parasites determined to eliminate this deviation from their kind.
Background
The anime was simulcast by Crunchyroll outside of Asia. Aside from the manga and anime, the series also has two live-action film adaptations. The Chinese Ministry of Culture blacklisted Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu as well as 37 other works on June 9, 2015.
