Summary
Kana is portrayed as a rebellious delinquent who develops romantic feelings for Shinichi. She finds herself drawn to his sensitive nature and senses that there is something unique about him. In truth, she possesses an unexplained psychic power that allows her to detect the presence of Parasites. However, her senses are not as refined as those of the Parasites themselves, making it impossible for her to distinguish between Shinichi and an ordinary Parasite, which places her in significant danger.
