Following the skirmish, the club learns that the mythical nine-tailed fox protecting the city has been abducted and that they are falsely accused of the crime. Issei and his friends must fight to clear their names, save the trip, and protect the city from impending disaster. Meanwhile, Rias, who stayed behind in Tokyo with Akeno Himejima and Koneko Toujou, grows increasingly uneasy about leaving the perverted Issei alone with the other club girls. Beneath her vague anxiety lies a deeper question: what are the true feelings Rias has been struggling with for the past few months?

(Episode 13) Whispers circulate through the school regarding a strange phenomenon where female students vanish, only to return suffering from illness and a noticeable reduction in breast size. #2: Oppai, Motomemasu! (Episode 14) To better understand their duties, Issei and Asia accompany Rias to investigate whether a specific coffin is cursed. During the inquiry, Issei becomes possessed by Unas, an Egyptian magician who shares Issei’s lecherous nature. Unas agrees to leave Issei’s body only if they can break the curse placed upon him by a devil he once attempted to force into marriage.

Because Shinichirou is responsible for freeing the nekomata, Sakuya enlists his help in recapturing the demon. But that is only the beginning of his relationship with her. It turns out the Shimazu family needs a housekeeper, and as it happens, Shinichirou excels at cooking and enjoys cleaning. It may not be his dream job, but if it covers the rent and puts food on the table...

Exorcist ninjas are tasked with protecting people from these malevolent spirits. Matsuri Kazamaki is a young exorcist ninja from a prestigious clan. His childhood friend, Suzu Kanade, is an ayakashi medium—a person with immense vitality that draws ayakashi to her. Matsuri views all ayakashi as dangerous and wants to keep Suzu far away from them, but this conflicts with her desire to stay close to them. One day, the pair encounters Shirogane, the "King of Ayakashi," who is determined to devour Suzu. As she is about to be eaten, Matsuri rescues her and manages to seal the ayakashi's powers—but not before Shirogane retaliates by transforming him into a girl! Until he finds a way to change back, Matsuri must adapt to his new, unusual lifestyle while battling hostile ayakashi. Meanwhile, Suzu is now uncertain about her feelings for Matsuri—further throwing their relationship into a state of confusion.

Shinichirou Asano, Sakuya Shimazu, and their companions travel to a private island owned by the Shimazu family for a holiday. The pleasant and relaxing trip takes a supernatural twist when they venture into the island's forest. As their friends disappear without explanation one by one, Shinichirou and Sakuya are left completely isolated on what now seems like a deserted island.

This episode, bundled with the ninth volume of the Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi novel, features Mirai in a chibi-style dream, a body-swapping incident, and a crossover with Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu.

Three OVAs were produced prior to the series' start, solely to introduce the cast. The first two were released on DVD bundled with drama CDs, while the third was sold separately. It is uncertain if they will ever see a release outside Japan. The first OVA adapts Chapter 1, showing Negi learning about his teaching assignment and meeting the students of Mahora Academy 2-A. It concludes with profiles of the Baka Rangers—Asuna, Makie, Yue, Ku Fei, and Kaede—as well as Ayaka. Asuna is the only girl in the class without romantic feelings for Negi. The second OVA adapts the "love potion" incident from Chapter 2, ending with profiles of Nodoka, Konoka, the cheerleaders Misa, Madoka, and Sakurako, and Kazumi. The third OVA adapts Chapter 13: Negi's tour of Mahora with the Narutaki twins. The tour introduces Negi to several students—Yuna, Akira, Chao, Satsuki, Satomi, Chizuru, Natsumi, and Zazie—while he misses others like Sayo, Evangeline, Chachamaru, Chisame, Misora, and Ako. After Haruna chews him out for skipping her entirely, a final scene shows Setsuna and Mana keeping watch over something on campus.
