In Edo, a city where samurai once thrived with courage and ambition, the arrival of the powerful alien race known as the Amanto shattered those dreams. The former shogunate now operates under foreign rule, and a new law prohibits carrying swords in public. Gintoki Sakata, a peculiar man with silver hair and a habit of carrying a wooden sword, continues to live as a samurai despite the ban. As the leader of Yorozuya, a small business that takes on odd jobs, he often sets out on missions to help others, though his methods are unusual and frequently chaotic. Alongside Shinpachi Shimura, a bespectacled youth training to be a samurai, Kagura, a strong and gluttonous tomboy, and Sadaharu, their enormous pet dog who likes to bite heads, the Yorozuya navigate the many challenges posed by the diverse residents of Edo, from alien nobility to local gang conflicts.

Most people dismiss the existence of aliens, time travelers, and espers, and high school student Kyon is no different. However, his mundane outlook is shattered from the first day of school by Haruhi Suzumiya, a girl intent on reshaping his perception of reality. During class introductions, Haruhi explicitly states her disdain for ordinary life and her burning desire to encounter supernatural entities. Unable to find an existing club focused on the paranormal, she impulsively establishes the "Spreading FUN throughout the School with Haruhi Suzumiya Club," widely known as the SOS Brigade. Haruhi then enlists Kyon alongside three others: the quiet, bookish Yuki Nagato; the shy upperclassman Mikuru Asahina; and the perpetually cheerful Itsuki Koizumi. While they seem unremarkable, each member conceals secrets tied to Haruhi's extraordinary nature. Thrown into her chaotic universe, Kyon joins the SOS Brigade and embarks on numerous adventures that slowly unveil the true essence of their enigmatic leader.

Naota Nandaba leads a thoroughly mundane life in a sleepy town where nothing ever happens. In an alternate-reality Edo where swords are forbidden and alien invaders have taken over Japan, they scrape by taking whatever odd jobs come their way. Still, Shinpachi and Kagura haven't seen a single payment—could Gin-chan really be blowing all the money on pachinko? One night, a drunken Gintoki stumbles home just as an alien spacecraft crashes nearby. A mortally wounded crew member crawls out and hands him a strange, clock-shaped device, warning that it holds immense power and must be protected. Mistaking it for his alarm clock, Gintoki smashes it the next morning—only to find the world outside his apartment frozen in time. With Kagura and Shinpachi by his side, he sets out to get the device repaired. Of course, nothing ever goes smoothly for the Yorozuya team. Packed with irreverent humor and heartfelt moments, Gintama's fourth season sees Gintoki and his friends face their wildest misadventures and most dangerous threats yet.

In the world of Infinite Stratos, Japan developed the IS, a formidable exoskeleton suit that only females are capable of piloting. Due to its overwhelming destructive potential, an international treaty prohibited its deployment in warfare. Fifteen-year-old Ichika Orimura, who miraculously possesses the ability to operate an IS, is compelled to attend the Infinite Stratos Academy, an exclusive all-girls boarding school dedicated to training IS operators. Upon arrival, he reconnects with childhood friends Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang while forging a connection with Cecilia Alcott, the representative from the UK. Fleeing the Yorozuya office in confusion, Shinpachi realizes that every resident of Edo has undergone ridiculously extreme changes, both in looks and personality. Most unbelievable of all, his sister Otae has married the Shinsengumi commander and shameless stalker Isao Kondou and is expecting their first child. Bewildered, Shinpachi agrees to join the Shinsengumi at Otae and Kondou's request and finds even more startling transformations happening both within and outside the organization's ranks. However, upon discovering that Vice Commander Toushirou Hijikata has remained unchanged, Shinpachi and his unlikely Shinsengumi ally set out to restore the city of Edo to the way they remember it. Packed with even more dirty jokes, tongue-in-cheek parodies, and shameless references, Gintama' follows the Yorozuya team through further misadventures in the lively, alien-filled world of Edo.

In a society where personal computers called Persocoms closely resemble humans, the true nature of love is put to the test. Hideki Motosuwa, a young man from the countryside trying to pass his college entrance exams, struggles to make ends meet, making it impossible for him to afford the latest technology: Persocoms, which are humanoid computers. One night, on his way home, he stumbles upon an abandoned Persocom and decides to bring her to his apartment. When he activates her, she responds with only a single word, "Chii," which becomes her name. Unlike other Persocoms, Chii cannot download information, forcing Hideki to manually teach her about life as he studies for his exams. With assistance from his friends, Hideki begins to investigate the mystery surrounding Chii, who might be a "Chobit"—a legendary type of Persocom rumored to possess genuine human emotions, thoughts, and the ability to love their owner. However, the potential for a romantic relationship between a Persocom and a human remains uncertain.

Since childhood, Tomoki Sakurai has been haunted by recurring nightmares of an angel. Concerned for him, his friend Sohara Mitsuki seeks the advice of Eishirou Sugata, an eccentric sky enthusiast. Included as a special episode in the final volume of the nine Blu-ray/DVD releases, this story takes place a few months after the television series' conclusion on a quiet day in Akihabara. Okabe and the other lab members receive an invitation from Feyris to travel to America, while Mayuri and the rest make plans to reunite with Kurisu, who has returned to her laboratory in the United States. Several days later, Okabe's mad scientist alter ego, Hououin Kyouma, arrives alone at Los Angeles International Airport, where he may be taking his first step toward plunging the world into chaos.

When Princesses Nana and Momo transfer to an Earth school under the watchful supervision of their older sister Lala, a fragile peace seems possible. However, Momo's attempt to foster sisterly affection between Rito and Lala is met with fierce resistance from Lala, who opposes any harem formation. Suddenly, Yami—known as the Golden Darkness—arrives with the subtlety of a supernova, bringing a legion of mind-controlled high school students in her wake. Space Dandy is a stylish space hunter with a signature pompadour who travels the galaxy hunting down rare alien species to sell for profit. His main ambition is to make it to his favorite restaurant, BooBies, which he claims is the best diner in the universe. On his ship, the Aloha Oe, he is joined by two unusual companions: QT, a robot built from a vacuum cleaner, and Meow, an alien who looks like a cat. Though his job sounds exciting, Dandy's missions rarely go smoothly, and each day brings a new and unpredictable challenge. Together with his crew, he faces dangerous assignments, romantic entanglements, and bizarre situations, all while trying to avoid being captured by the villainous Dr. Gel of the Gogol Empire.

In "Nyaruko: Crawling With Love!", Mahiro Yasaka is an ordinary high school student whose routine is shattered when a monstrous Nightgaunt alien attacks him. He is rescued by Nyaruko, a silver-haired girl who is actually the shape-shifting deity Nyarlathotep from the Cthulhu Mythos created by H. P. Lovecraft. The Space Defense Agency sent Nyaruko to Earth to prevent Mahiro from being kidnapped and enslaved by the alien. After saving him, Nyaruko develops an intense infatuation with Mahiro and moves into his house, much to his frustration. Soon after, two more characters from the same mythos arrive: Cthuko, a girl deeply in love with Nyaruko, and Hasuta, a boy often mistaken for a girl. These three strange beings constantly protect Mahiro from various otherworldly threats targeting both Earth and him, while also wreaking havoc on his daily life and turning it into a continuous ordeal.

While Gintoki Sakata is away, the Yorozuya gang gains a new leader in Kintoki, a golden-haired doppelganger of Gintoki. To get his old position back, Gintoki needs help from the people around him, but that proves difficult when no one can recall his existence. The rivalry between Kintoki and Gintoki raises the question of who will ultimately take the spotlight as the main character. Meanwhile, the Yorozuya returns to the red-light district of Yoshiwara to assist an elderly courtesan searching for her long-lost lover. Although the district is no longer chained beneath the earth, the trio soon uncovers the tragic histories of Yoshiwara's residents that still linger. Through numerous flashbacks, the Yorozuya witnesses enduring love and strives to protect it with all their hearts and souls. Gintama': Enchousen delivers moments of intense action alongside the usual lighthearted, slapstick humor that Gintoki and his companions are known for.

In Rito Yuuki’s world, calm is hard to come by, as he repeatedly finds himself in awkward situations with the girls around him. Though he remains devoted to his childhood friend Haruna, his feelings for Lala—an alien princess who came to Earth to marry him—grow more complicated. Things escalate when Lala’s younger twin sisters, Momo and Nana, arrive on Earth to meet their future brother-in-law and soon move in with Rito. Adding to the chaos, Yami, a living weapon, also begins pursuing him relentlessly. Caught between mixed emotions, the fallout from his reputation as a pervert, and the threats posed by an assassin, Rito’s daily life stays anything but peaceful.

In Gintama Season 5, after aligning with the anti-shogunate rebellion, Gintoki and his team retreat alongside Katsura and his Joui forces. They are approached by Nobume Imai and two Kiheitai members, who reveal that the Harusame pirates have betrayed 7th Division Commander Kamui and their comrade Takasugi. The Kiheitai enlist Gintoki to locate Takasugi, who disappeared following a Harusame ambush. Nobume also discloses a startling revelation concerning the Tendoushuu, a secretive group influencing multiple factions, and their enigmatic leader, Utsuro, who bears a striking resemblance to Gintoki’s former mentor. Aboard Sakamoto’s spacecraft, the Yorozuya and Katsura travel to Rakuyou, Kagura’s home world, where numerous groups have gathered amid rising tensions. Old rivalries, political strife, and the Tendoushuu’s hidden scheme all converge in a decisive, large-scale conflict on Rakuyou.

Makoto Niwa meticulously records his daily experiences, grading his life as if it were a subject. When his parents relocate abroad, he moves to a new town to live with his aunt, hoping for a fresh start. However, his vision of a typical teenage life is shattered by the discovery of a previously unknown cousin, Erio Touwa. Upon meeting Erio, who is the same age but vastly different from him, Makoto finds her spending her days in a futon instead of attending school and declaring herself an alien. Her peculiar behavior and speech patterns quickly destroy Makoto’s dreams of a normal adolescence. As he encounters other unique girls in the town, Makoto faces the challenge of maintaining a positive outlook on his youth. He may discover, however, that an unconventional life can be surprisingly exhilarating.

Sakurai Tomoki has grown accustomed to his daily life alongside the two angeloids, Ikaros and Nymph, and is having a great time. Still, he keeps experiencing strange dreams and asks all his friends to help him figure out what is causing them. Nymph creates a device that allows humans—but not angeloids—to enter other people's dreams. The gadget initially malfunctions, but eventually they manage to reach what should have been Tomoki's dream, only to find that something is seriously off about it. Later, a meteor crashes down from the sky at the spot beneath the large cherry blossom tree where Tomoki first discovered Ikaros. A blonde angeloid with a very large figure and a massive sword steps out of the meteor and begins looking for Tomoki!

In "To LOVE Ru Darkness 2," the emotionless assassin Golden Darkness investigates the secrets of her changed existence, while the malevolent Nemesis secretly manipulates her younger sister, Mea. Alongside their recently discovered mother, Tearju, this once-fractured family now draws widespread attention. At the same time, Princess Momo's Harem Plan encounters obstacles as Rito struggles to confess his long-held feelings to Haruna, who has begun to develop her own emotions. Yet, beneath the apparent calm, a dark force threatens to overshadow the love, happiness, and bonds that Rito and his harem share. Donning a disguise provided by the android time machine, Gintoki clumsily brings the Yorozuya team back together to investigate the White Plague. He soon learns that the solution to saving the future is hidden in the shadows of his own past. As he prepares to face a powerful enemy, he makes a crucial realization—with a mismatched group of friends and allies standing by him, he doesn't need to face the battle alone.

In the wake of a bus hijacking, Yuuta Iridatsu is rescued by the masked hero Strange Juice but ends up with his soul separated from his body, now watched over by a mischievous cat spirit named Chiranosuke.
