Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan
Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai gathers several one-shot stories from the JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken manga, following the strange experiences of Rohan Kishibe as he seeks inspiration for his manga.
Fugou Mura
Rohan goes with his editor Kyouka Izumi to a remote village where she plans to buy a house. Izumi explains that the village's residents mysteriously become wealthy once they turn 25 after purchasing their homes. Since she is 25 herself, Izumi is eager to move there and suggests Rohan collect material for his manga. When they visit a house to interview the owner, they encounter a servant named Ikkyuu, who subjects them to a dangerous test of etiquette.
Mutsukabezaka
Rohan meets with his editor Minoru Kagamari to discuss his manga and the six mountains he has recently acquired. He confesses that he bought the mountains to search for the legendary spirit called Mutsukabezaka. To explain the reason for his quest, he relates the story of Naoko Osato, a wealthy heiress who killed her boyfriend and fell under the spirit's curse.
Zangenshitsu
After putting his manga work on hold, Rohan travels to Venice for a vacation. While exploring a church, he examines the design of the confession booth. Entering from the priest's side, he listens to a man confessing his sins from the other side. The man tells of an encounter with a starving beggar and the disturbing events that followed.
The Run
Youma Hashimoto, a young male model, is experiencing a sudden rise in popularity. As his fame grows, so does his fixation on his looks and physical fitness. When he meets Rohan at a gym, they quickly become rivals, pushing Youma to train even harder. His obsession with perfection soon takes a dark turn, leading him to challenge Rohan to a dangerous treadmill contest.
