Synopsis
Captain is a compelling sports manga that focuses on ordinary boys rather than superhuman heroes, chronicling the development of the Sumiya 2 junior high school baseball team in downtown Tokyo across various generations of captains and players. Takao Taniguchi, formerly a substitute on the second team of Aoba Gakuin, a prestigious institution in the baseball world, transfers to Sumiya 2 and assumes the role of baseball club captain. After rigorous training, the team aims to compete in the regional preliminaries final against Aoba Gakuin.
