Long ago, Miguel, the God of Destruction, was sealed inside Sturmhurt, a knight who ruled over both light and darkness, alongside Gestöber through countless battles. In the present day, fate has reincarnated them as Kabuto Hanadori and Seri Koyuki, now classmates. Instead of a joyful reunion, these legendary beings exist only within Kabuto's delusional world. As the imagined Gestöber, Seri faces embarrassing situations due to Kabuto's increasingly extravagant chuunibyou behaviors. Making matters worse is Utsugi Tsukimiya, a classmate with the exacting ability to read minds, which undermines Seri's social standing. Even though Seri tries to dismiss Kabuto's fantasies and keep his distance, the mix of Kabuto's imaginary scenarios and Utsugi's unpredictable powers ensures Seri is inevitably caught up in the ensuing chaos.
