The following day, his friend Kuracchi excitedly shows off the newly released Mazica Party card game. To Kezuru's surprise, every character illustrated on the game cards matches exactly what he saw in his dream. Soon after, Kezuru receives a notification about an event hosted by the major international corporation Mazica. Curious, he heads to the Mazica Store as instructed, where he meets the CEO of Mazica himself, Jeff Johns. Johns tells Kezuru, "I have great expectations for you," and hands him a Mazica Gear. On his way back home, Kezuru is attacked by a creature resembling an airship. Just as he thinks "this is it," his Mazica Gear erupts, and a magic book materializes. When he scratches a card, he forms a contract with Barunya, a "mazin" that is a bizarre hybrid of an airship and a cat. The enigmatic girl Anya declares that Kezuru and those like him will become "the true wizards who save the world." Amid these bewildering revelations, Kezuru enrolls in Mazica Academy and engages in Mazica Party card battles alongside his partner mazin.

That visitor's pet, Bunny—a white cat with rabbit-like ears and a tiny heart on its tail—remained behind as a forest fairy. Comet harnesses her powers, which come from the stars of her home world, through a magical baton. She also possesses a special pendant that can call Rubba Ball and helps her detect and follow the prince's whereabouts.

In the small American town of Frog Creek, Jack and Annie are two very different siblings. Jack loves reading and spends his time lost in books, while Annie is bold and always ready for adventure, frequently getting dirty from her explorations. One day, they discover a mysterious treehouse filled with books hidden deep in the woods.
