In the events following Invasion, Colonel Johnny Rico is assigned to train a new group of troopers on a Martian satellite. However, these latest recruits, being Martians themselves, show a lackluster attitude toward the war effort, considering it irrelevant because their planet has remained untouched by the bug invasions. In general, Mars displays minimal enthusiasm for continuing the fight, with some even advocating for withdrawal from the conflict. This complacency leads to a devastating surprise when the bugs launch a sudden attack. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to everyone, Sky Marshal Amy Snapp is secretly executing plans to seize control.

The third and final season of ULTRAMAN. Shinjirou (Ultraman), haunted by a nightmare, begins to realize he can no longer keep his abilities under control and struggles to contain them. His power is unleashed beyond his control, the city is destroyed, and people are hurt. Society begins to call Ultraman a "disaster of mankind" and the hero becomes a target for condemnation. Shinjirou, alone and having lost everything, finds himself in the middle of a maelstrom of fate. In the shadows of the confusion, an ominous alien force moves in secret.

Invasion starts with the Bugs launching an attack on Fort Casey, a Federation outpost. The fast attack ship Alesia is dispatched to assist the starship John A. Warden, currently stationed at Fort Casey, in evacuating survivors and delivering vital military intelligence to Earth. At the same time, Carl Jenkins, the head of the Ministry of Paranormal Warfare, takes the starship on a secret mission before rendezvousing with the Alesia, then vanishes into a nearby nebula. The veteran troopers are subsequently given a rescue mission that may lead to repercussions far darker than they ever anticipated.

A worldwide string of mysterious disappearances strikes, with Rena and Shinjirou among the missing. Freelance reporter Kotaro Higashi looks into these baffling events. The alien terrorist organization Dark Star is responsible for the abductions. They give Earth an ultimatum: hand over half the planet or lose half its population. Meanwhile, the kidnapped Rena and Shinjirou are held aboard Dark Star's orbital vessel. After gathering key evidence, Kotaro gets caught up in the conflict between Dark Star and the SSSP, barely escaping death. In the final battle, the heroes confront the devastating Golden Fortress. As the mecha wreaks havoc on the city, ULTRAMAN, SEVEN, and TARO are joined by ZOFFY, JACK, and ACE. Together, all six ULTRAMAN heroes unite to face the threat.

In 2045, the world is reeling from the aftermath of the Global Simultaneous Default, an economic catastrophe that shattered global stability, alongside the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence. This era is defined by the Sustainable War, a prolonged conflict engineered to persist indefinitely. Despite these challenges, the looming threat posed by advanced AI remains largely overlooked by the general public. To address the cybercrimes perpetrated by the emerging Posthuman faction, Public Security Section 9, led by full-body cyborg Kusanagi Motoko, travels to Tokyo, a city scarred by previous conflicts. There, they encounter a refugee group called "N" and clash with a hostile U.S. Special Forces team. As tensions escalate over a potential nuclear crisis involving a hijacked submarine, the rivalry among Section 9, the United States, and the Posthumans intensifies.

Appleseed Alpha tells a self-contained story that stands apart from the original Appleseed film continuity, yet it comes from the same director. In this iteration, Briareos is already a cyborg from the start, and shares no prior history with Deunan Knute before the two of them join ESWAT in Olympus. The plot focuses on the early journey of Deunan and Briareos in the 22nd century, as they navigate the devastated landscape of New York, attempting to reach the ideal city of Olympus. Two Horns, the ruler of this ruined metropolis, contracts them to destroy bipedal war machines. During their task, they cross paths with Iris and Olson, who are carrying out their own agenda. After forging a connection, Deunan and Briareos decide to support Iris and Olson. Iris's mission is to stop the sinister cyborg Talos from obtaining a concealed human weapon. However, Talos deceives Iris into activating the colossal war machine.

In 2032 Los Angeles, a young woman awakens with no memory of her past, yet she possesses lethal combat skills. Clues to her identity include a sealed data device and a black lotus tattoo. To uncover the truth of her forgotten history and locate those linked to her violent past, she must piece together these scattered fragments.

Fifty years ago, Earth was saved by an interstellar giant of light called Ultraman, who then vanished. Shin Hayata, the human who hosted Ultraman, had no memory of his heroic actions. Now, Hayata's son Shinjirou possesses extraordinary strength and resilience far beyond normal humans. The SSSP, the organization that once aided Ultraman, reveals Hayata's past to him, prompting him to don a power suit again and resume his role as Ultraman. One night, Shinjirou is attacked by an alien named Bemular and is saved by his father, who sustains severe injuries in the fight. As dangerous extraterrestrials threaten the city and Hayata is unable to act, the responsibility falls on Shinjirou to step up as the new protector. Teaming up with the SSSP as Ultraman's successor, Shinjirou struggles with the moral complexities of his mission and questions how far he is willing to go to protect humanity.

In 2045, the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence has transformed society, as governments rely on AI-driven continuous warfare to sustain their economies. Major Motoko Kusanagi leads the mercenary group GHOST, navigating this intricate environment. However, the swift advancement of AI introduces a new danger. After leaving Public Security Section 9, Kusanagi and her team carry out various global missions tied to these proxy conflicts. A routine assignment to track down an arms dealer thrusts GHOST into a covert struggle against cybernetically enhanced individuals with extraordinary intellectual and physical capabilities. Known as "post-humans," these beings trigger a series of events that lead to the reformation of Section 9. With a fresh objective, Kusanagi and her reassembled unit must prevent the post-humans from triggering worldwide chaos.
