This anime is a spin-off from a children's program featuring unemployed performers wearing costumes of a big mouse, a penguin, and a lion. The original show was part of Japan's "Watch with Mother" television block designed for preschool-aged children.

Potomas the Hippo hides a secret: he can talk like a person, but only the children Maki and Toshi are aware of this. He also sports a vivid green T-shirt with a large letter "P" on it, though this is meant to be discreetly low-key. After briefly forgetting to stay silent, Potomas speaks to a child he rescues from drowning. Word quickly gets out about a hippo that talks, and Potomas has no choice but to flee.

In the story "Ganbare Swimmy," the black fish Swimmy lives among a school of red fish and goes on various adventures while searching for their place in the world. They must avoid tuna and keep away from the threatening Great Octopus.

A short animated film following an orphan kitten raised with care by a sea otter who had lost her own child. Through anthropomorphic animals, the movie conveys a message advocating for the elimination of nuclear weapons.

Noriyasu appears to be a normal third-grader until he catches his mother reading his private diary. To unsettle her, he begins writing outrageous falsehoods—a giant snake lurking in the bathroom, eating pencils for dinner, and a downpour of pigs. To his amazement, these made-up tales actually come true, and everyone around him treats them as completely normal. The confusion escalates when Noriyasu tries his hand at being a newspaper reporter, publishing "fake news" that rapidly spreads across the neighborhood. The turmoil reaches its peak during a holiday filled with a cascade of pork-related disasters.

Dr. Kazuki, foreseeing an invasion of Earth by the Izaru people, constructs a robot based on the principles of magnetism and sphere joint theory. His daughter Mai undergoes a dangerous augmentation process to become the pilot of "Mighty," also known as "Magnetman Minus." Takeshi Hojo becomes the pilot of "Puraiza," or "Magnetman Plus." The two pilots embrace each other, physically transforming their joined bodies into a metallic plate that locks onto the frame of Gakeen—short for "Gathering Keen"—enabling the super robot to move and fight. This sequence was notably suggestive to adult viewers due to its almost-sexual connotations.

Pepe is a Spanish cyclist participating in the Vuelta a España, a multi-stage cycling race across the Iberian Peninsula comparable to the Tour de France. He serves as a domestique for one of the teams in the competition, tasked with helping the squad's lead rider secure the overall victory. As the narrative progresses, the racers are scheduled to pass through Pepe's hometown in Andalusia on the same day as the wedding of his older brother Ángel to Carmen, who was once Pepe's girlfriend. That relationship played a part in his decision to leave the town and pursue professional cycling, and the wedding serves as a bitter reminder that his career has not gone according to plan. With his sponsor planning to cut him from the team and his family and friends cheering him on, Pepe abandons his designated duties and goes for glory himself.

The story centers on Gauche, a professional cellist. During a rehearsal for an upcoming concert, the conductor criticizes his playing, pointing out its lack of quality and emotional depth. Upon returning to his secluded cottage, Gauche practices tirelessly. A cat soon appears, leading him toward a deeper understanding of music. Through encounters with a cuckoo, which teaches discipline; a badger, which demonstrates rhythm; and a mouse, which embodies gentleness, Gauche learns the true emotion and meaning behind the music over four days. This transformation elevates him into a truly remarkable musician. Interwoven with famous classical compositions, this special offers both enjoyment and inspiration to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Demons are real, and their strength is far beyond human comprehension. In fact, they are so formidable that humans have no chance of defeating them in combat. The only force capable of overcoming a demon is another demon, and based on this reasoning, Ryo Asuka devises a plan to have his kind-hearted friend, Akira Fudo, taken over by a demon. If a person has a pure enough heart, they might be able to control the demon that possesses them, thus gaining power equal to that of a demon. After causing some chaos in a nightclub, the plan succeeds, and Akira is taken over by the mighty demon named Amon. Now, Akira stands as humanity's sole champion of justice against the hidden demon threat that has plagued mankind since the beginning of time.

Akira Fudou is an ordinary high school student whose routine life is interrupted when he encounters a group of bullies, only to have his childhood friend Ryou Asuka intervene and stop them. Their reunion leads them to a nightclub party, where Akira initially feels out of place. However, the evening takes a terrifying turn when the attendees begin transforming into monstrous demons. Amid the chaos, Akira and Ryou are rescued by Amon, a powerful demon, who then merges with Akira to become Devilman. Driven by Akira's deep compassion for humanity, Devilman emerges determined to protect mankind from the demon menace.

In a town submerged beneath ever-rising waters, an elderly man must continuously add new floors to his house to stay above the flood. His world is turned upside down when his beloved pipe falls into the depths. As he descends into the lower levels of his home, he also delves into memories of a long-gone era. "La Maison en Petits Cubes" is a short film that examines the lasting effects of time on human life, showing how the past can be entirely enveloped and how one must find the resilience to keep moving forward regardless.
