Synopsis
A short animated film following an orphan kitten raised with care by a sea otter who had lost her own child. Through anthropomorphic animals, the movie conveys a message advocating for the elimination of nuclear weapons.
Background
Sea Cat is an educational short film funded by the Kishiwada City Teachers' Union about the dangers of nuclear warfare. Never having been released on any home video format, it was first made widely available to the public when media preservation group Kineko Films acquired and scanned a 16mm print.
