After a car accident leaves professional climber Choi Se-hyeon on the road to recovery, she learns she is pregnant right before the Climbing World Championships. Her dreams and career balance on a knife's edge as she confronts the weight of upcoming motherhood. At the same time, she starts getting messages from what seems to be another version of herself—one who made a completely different choice after the crash. Through all the obstacles, her strongest wish is to hold onto her child.

In "What Is Not Romance?", Hwang Soon-bok, a father of four who is handsome in an ordinary way, frequently throws lively family get-togethers. One day, he runs into Jisun, a virgin ghost, and she asks him to help her with her Scare tests—exams she must pass in order to be reborn. In exchange, Junghoon makes a deal with Jisun to help him get closer to Eunji. As they try to solve each other’s problems, they often clash, but their feelings for each other gradually grow stronger over time.

In 2070, humanity is threatened by massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Korea has descended into chaos, and Busan is flooded with refugees. Young street dealer Ha-jin possesses the ability to communicate with whales—a secret she guards carefully. One day, a one-armed woman named Baek Sang-won invites Ha-jin to join her in hunting the gules whale. Ha-jin initially refuses due to painful memories, but eventually agrees to go with Baek. While making friends aboard the ship, she becomes curious about the gules whale and discovers that each crew member carries a sorrowful story linked to it. The madness reflected in the crew's eyes as they strive to kill the gules forces Ha-jin to confront her own trauma—and she begins to experience that madness herself.

A never-before-seen media program is currently airing at a TV broadcasting station. The show is polling viewers on whether a spider that drove a politician insane should be put to death by public execution. That spider is Je Bul-chal (which translates to "my mistake"), a diligent young person who took up work as an ear cleaner because of a treasured memory involving his sister. To decide the poll on his execution, the tale of how Mr. Sorry came to be a spider is slowly unveiled.
