Once popular across the country, local heroines—superhero characters who promote their towns through stage shows—thrived. Among them, Kamidaio was especially famous. Mikan Kise’s younger sister Yuzu was thrilled to see Kamidaio perform in their small town of Hinano. But when they arrived, Mikan discovered the show had been canceled, leaving Yuzu upset. Determined to keep her promise, Mikan asked her classmate An Akagi, an ardent fan of local heroines, for help. Together, Mikan and An staged an impromptu Kamidaio performance in homemade costumes. Though not professional, it delighted the watching children. The student council president, Misaki Shirogane—who came from a politically influential family and aimed to revitalize Hinano—captured the act on video. Impressed by their dedication, Misaki recruited Mikan and An to become the town’s official local heroines. With support from a lively group of people, the trio worked hard to polish their shows and bring joy to their community.

The two OVA episodes were packaged with the Queen's Blade Premium Visual Book and the Queen's Blade Rebellion Premium Visual Book. Their storyline comes from Queen's Blade Rebellion, the sequel to Queen's Blade: Utsukushiki Toushitachi.

The first episode centers on Hunter and Valkyrie, characters who previously appeared as guests in the television anime, along with two new additions: Cleric and Kunoichi. Hunter and Valkyrie encounter Cleric and assume she will serve as their healer, but something about her seems off. Shortly after, they are ambushed by Kunoichi, who is searching for the legendary bikini armor. The second episode follows Fighter's party after they have overcome various trials, conversed with a deity, and obtained the legendary bikini armor. However, the armor remains invisible to anyone who is an idiot.

An unaired episode of Bikini Warriors is set to be included as a bonus feature with the Blu-ray volume scheduled for release on December 9th, 2015, as announced on the official Hobby Japan website.

This story is based on a gamebook by Hobby Japan. The Queen's Blade tournament is an exhibition that occurs every four years.
