Synopsis
Rick Gladiatol, a thirty-year-old guild clerk who has never let go of his childhood ambition to become a hero, finds his fortunes transformed when he meets Reanette Elfelt, a dark elf belonging to the elite Orichalcum Fist party. They extend an invitation for him to join their group—provided he can survive their brutal, Spartan-like training regimen. After two grueling years, Rick is finally prepared to take the E-Rank exam and officially become an adventurer. Yet, because magical ability typically peaks by age twenty, he faces harsh skepticism from both rival candidates and the examiners.
