In a world where conventional energy sources have been completely exhausted, human waste has become the only viable fuel. To increase production, the government implants chips in everyone's anus at birth, which release addictive "juicybars" upon detection of defecation. These drugs occasionally cause users to mutate into constipated, blue-skinned dwarf-like beings called the "Diaper Gang," who live underground and are obsessed with obtaining more juicybars. Aachi and Ssipak, two small-time criminals, make a living by stealing and trading juicybars. Their fortunes change when they encounter a mysterious woman who carries the anal chips of all Diaper Gang members inside her body, allowing her to produce multiple juicybars with each bowel movement. As Aachi and Ssipak accumulate wealth from this discovery, they draw the attention of both the government and the Diaper Gang, leading them into a struggle to protect their riches.

A year after Bagramon's defeat, Taiki Kudou and Yuu Amano have established a basketball team that includes their classmate Tagiru Akashi. Tagiru discovers a mysterious zone called the DigiQuartz, an unstable and puzzling space situated between the human world and the digital realm. He finds out that children all over the globe have received Xros Loaders and been paired with Digimon for a competition known as the 'Digimon Hunt.' When Digimon wander into the DigiQuartz from the digital world, they absorb negative emotions from the human world, becoming both stronger and dangerously aggressive. To stop these Digimon from causing chaos on Earth, the Digimon Hunters must step in. With help from the lively Gumdramon, Tagiru aims to become the top Digimon Hunter, unaware of Taiki and Yuu's prior experiences with Digimon. Yet a sinister power is responsible for creating the DigiQuartz, and the young Hunters will soon realize that the Digimon Hunt is much more than just a game.

Returning to the Digital World, Taiki and Shoutmon discover that the Bagra Army has seized control and restructured the realm into Seven Kingdoms, each governed by a general.

During a Turbo Duel alongside Jack Atlas and Crow Hogan, Yusei Fudo has his Stardust Dragon captured by Paradox—a mysterious Turbo Duelist from the future—who turns it into a Sin Monster. Empowered by the Crimson Dragon, Yusei pursues Paradox through a time slip and ends up in the past. There, Paradox duels Jaden Yuki, who still wields the powers of Yubel and the Supreme King. By this time, Paradox has also captured Cyber End Dragon and Rainbow Dragon, overwhelming Jaden. Yusei and the Crimson Dragon arrive to save him. Jaden explains Paradox's true goal: by stealing monsters from various eras and corrupting them, he intends to kill Maximillion Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monsters, thereby preventing the game's creation and erasing the events of all three series. Yusei and Jaden agree to chase Paradox into the past, leading them to meet the King of Games, Yugi Mutou. However, Paradox has already attacked that era, supposedly killing both Pegasus and Yugi's grandfather, and stolen Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Dragon. After Yusei and Jaden explain the situation, Yugi joins them in a three-on-one duel against Paradox to free the trapped monsters and save the world—and time itself—before it is too late.

In the midst of a fierce conflict within the Digital World, the villainous Bagra Army seeks to collect the pieces of the Code Crown, which would grant them total control over the entire realm. Their pursuit of power is relentless. Taiki Kudou, a kind-hearted middle school student passionate about soccer and helping those in need, encounters a desperate situation while spending time with his friends Akari Hinomoto and Zenjirou Tsurugi. They hear a cry for help and discover a severely injured Digimon named Shoutmon in a nearby alley. Using a strange device called a Xros Loader, Taiki rescues Shoutmon, but this action also transports him and his friends to the Digital World. Determined to stop the Bagra Army from achieving its goals, Taiki, Akari, and Zenjirou form an alliance with Shoutmon and other local Digimon to create the Xros Heart army. On their journey through the Digital World to collect the Code Crown fragments and defeat their enemies, they learn they are not alone in this battle involving humans.

In their first encounter, streetwise brawler Masaru Daimon and unruly Digimon Agumon form an unlikely bond through a direct physical clash. This pair, calling themselves the "ultimate team," draws the notice of a covert government agency known as the Digital Accident Tactics Squad (DATS) when they are observed fighting a Digimon. DATS's main goal is to investigate strange events caused by Digimon entering the human world, and as these incidents grow more frequent, a global threat emerges. As part of their missions for DATS, Masaru and Agumon team up with prodigy teenager Touma Norstein and his Digimon partner Gaomon, as well as kind-hearted Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda and her Digimon companion Lalamon. As the group explores deeper into the rise of Digimon appearances, a darker truth begins to reveal itself.

In the series Zatch Bell!, a disinterested teenage boy named Takamine Kiyomaro suddenly becomes the caretaker of a small demon named Gash Bell. Unbeknownst to Kiyomaro, Gash is involved in a contest to decide who will rule the demon world.
