In the shoujo manga Seito Shokun! Kokoro ni Midori no Neckerchief wo by Shouji Youko, published in Kodansha's Shoujo Friend, the story takes place in a setting where students no longer trust teachers, educators have lost hope in the education system, and parents hold schools accountable for their children's misbehavior. Naoko, a recently hired high school teacher, finds it hard to adjust to these rough times, with pupils becoming harder to handle than before. Despite the difficulties, Naoko chooses not to walk away but instead investigates the many issues rooted in today's educational environment.

Ruby, Garnet, and the rest of the Jewelpet characters—each recognized by their distinct jewel eyes—are suddenly whisked away on a school trip to China's Sichuan Province, joined by their teacher Iruka. Three years have passed since the series concluded. Ryo is employed at NASA as an engineer working on a major rocket project. Ryo, however, remains as indecisive as ever, so she leaves for Japan without him. Chuck Sweager, the third Borgman, works as a police officer, as does his girlfriend Miki. After Miki witnesses a fight among several cyborgs, she informs Chuck, who flatly states that it cannot be possible since the only living cyborgs are Ryo, Anise, and himself. But she persuades him, and they begin investigating. Anise arrives for her new job, and when they meet for dinner, they explain the situation to her. Anise volunteers to sneak into the Heaven's Gate project, which they suspect is the source of these new cyborgs. Meanwhile, Ryo is en route to Japan to pursue his girlfriend. Accompanying him is Hussan, one of the two surviving researchers from the Borgman Project, who has been summoned to testify before the Tokyo Police to assist in the investigation. Once the entire cast gathers in Japan, matters start to grow complicated.

This OVA installment continues the 1980s television series focused on the Borgmen, an elite squad of bio-enhanced humans fighting crime. Set several years after the original team disbanded, this volume brings together the three remaining members—rocket scientist Ryo, his girlfriend Anise, and police officer Chuck Sweager—for the emotionally charged story "Lover's Rain," as they face a horde of undead determined to unleash murder and destruction.

In Magical Princess Minky Momo: La Ronde in my Dream, Momo visits an island and uncovers a hidden realm populated by children. She then becomes the center of an absurd, worldwide conflict involving multiple countries. The narrative parallels Dr. Strangelove.

The story begins when Hayato, a soccer enthusiast, and his girlfriend Yumi, an aspiring musician, pay a visit to Dr. Leonard's lab. They accidentally activate the Tondekeman, a funny talking kettle that transports them many centuries into the past. In Baghdad, Hayato and Yumi are reunited but become separated from the Tondekeman. They encounter Aladdin, Prince Dandarn, and Princess Shalala. They also meet the cunning Abdullah, who is always ready to kidnap the princess so that he can marry her to his master. Our heroes travel to different places and times, meeting several historical and literary figures as they pursue Abdullah through time to prevent him from abducting the princess. Hayato and Yumi are stranded in the past until they can retrieve the Tondekeman from Abdullah's possession.

In a post-apocalyptic world, treasure hunter Riot sets out on an adventure with his charming companions to find the Eyes of Zalem. They think these artifacts can guide them to Rido, a huge energy source from the ancient Quall civilization that can restore life. But their mission is hindered by the evil Demsters, who are after the same powerful prize.

Beast Wars Neo is a 1999 Japanese television series created to promote the corresponding toy line. It is a direct continuation of Beast Wars II. The story centers on a band of Maximals under the leadership of Big Convoy as they contend with the sinister Predacon commander Magmatron and his followers to gather the Angolmois energy capsules that were scattered at the conclusion of Beast Wars II.

Cacao and Parfait are dispatched on a mission across time and space to locate the Fourth Warrior, Lamunes, in order to prevent the galaxy from falling into destruction. However, when they find him, Lamunes is commanding the marauding Giga Genos invasion fleet. Determined to subjugate every world under his tyrannical rule, Lamunes pushes forward with his conquest. With the aid of a plucky orphan, Cacao and Parfait must stop Lamunes from seizing control of the universe.

Baba Lamunade is followed home by two unusual peddler girls who hand him a CD-ROM game. After he clears "The Legend of Lamuness," the girls emerge from his computer and transport him to DokiDoki Space. He is the third descendant of the hero Lamuness, tasked with preventing Don Genosai from reviving the great evil Abraham. Alongside PQ, his advisor robot, and companions Parfait and Cacao, he must pilot the Kaizer Fire mecha. However, he requires a second pilot, and Da Cider is selected for that role.

After a meteor strike, a new energy source called Beamler is discovered, powering the combat robot GoShogun and the teleporting fortress Good Thunder. The Docougar Crime Syndicate, led by the criminal mastermind Neo Neros, tries to learn the secrets of Beamler from GoShogun's creator. To prevent this, the inventor kills himself. Neo Neros then targets the inventor's son, but the boy is rescued and taken aboard Good Thunder, where he joins the crew in their global fight against Neo Neros's forces with GoShogun's aid.

In Goshogun the Time Etranger, four decades after the events of the original series, Remy Shimada—once the pilot of the GoShogun—suffers a severe accident while heading to a reunion with her former robot-piloting comrades. Among these idol groups is Hummingbird, a five-woman team made up of the Toreishi sisters: Satsuki, Uzuki, Yayoi, Kanna, and Miina. During a taping session, video director Kudo notices potential in the girls and steps in to help them reach the top of the charts by directing their debut video.

Mint is a princess from the realm of dreams and magic. The natural landscape of this world mirrors the dreams of people living on Earth. That environment is now fading, as humans lose belief in their dreams and allow darkness to creep into their hearts, causing Mint's world to wither and decline. On her twelfth birthday, following a grand celebration with her father the King and her mother, Mint agrees to journey to the human world. Her mission is to help preserve the hopes and dreams of people, while also proving she possesses the wisdom needed to become a capable ruler. Her father arranges for her to stay with his sister—Mint's aunt named Herb—who runs a gift shop on Earth called the "Happiness Shop."

Sonic Soldier Borgman is a science fiction series blending super sentai elements with non-combining mecha technology. The narrative follows a trio that resembles a sentai team in their fight against the Youma organization. The group consists of three members associated with the primary ranger colors of pink, blue, and green. The main characters are Chuck, Ryo, and Anise, with Ryo serving as the leader. Chuck and Anise also work as teachers at a public school. Their students frequently assist the Borgman or cause problems, and some even learn their secret identities. Ryo rides a modern blue motorcycle capable of self-upgrading and speech. The transformation phrase is "Borg. Get On." Each team member wields a personalized cannon matching their armor color, used exclusively to defeat the monsters encountered.

The second Minky Momo comes from "Marinasa," a land of dreams and magic similar to Fenarinasa that has sunk to the bottom of the sea. On Earth, she attempts to accomplish what the first Momo could not—restore humanity's hopes and dreams—in order to rescue Fenarinasa and Marinenasa from extinction. While the series follows a similar structure to the 1982 original, it features a heavier narrative, with many episodes incorporating real-life social issues as themes.

The anime (specifically episode 2) features Rockman traveling from the Game-World to the real world to learn about Japanese cultural differences. This was created as a special episode for the original Mega Man cartoon series by Ruby-Spears, which aired around 1995 in the United States. The special was completed before Ruby-Spears decided to redesign their entire show with a completely new look meant for American audiences. Since it no longer matched the new style, it was never included in the series. However, two more episodes about the same story were produced shortly afterward, this time under the main title "Rockman" (unlike episode 2, where he is called "Mega Man" even in the Japanese dub). It is unknown if these three episodes ever received an official release until 2002, when Capcom of Japan decided to finally release them on DVD for Rockman's 15th Anniversary. Both Japanese and English dubs are included, but no subtitles. It is unknown if any other secret animated works of the original Rockman game series exist.

In the series Offside (TV), Goro Kumagaya, an experienced and tall goalkeeper from middle school, intends to join Yokonan High School, which boasts an elite football program. However, an unexpected event leads him to enroll instead at Kawasaki High School, a rival institution with less renown. At Kawasaki, Goro encounters skilled players Shingo, Hideki, and Kazuhito Oda. Together, they establish the Kawasaki High School football club and compete against Yokonan and other schools, working to improve their skills and pursue the championship. Through numerous obstacles, the team turns every difficulty into a chance for development, including uncovering Goro's hidden ability as an exceptional striker.

Lamune is a regular fourth-grader who loves video games. He purchases a game cartridge from a traveling merchant girl and assists her in selling the rest of her stock. After he plays "King Sccasher" and completes it, the merchant girl emerges from his TV, revealing herself as Princess Milk. She proclaims Lamune to be the "Blood Relative of the Chosen Hero Lamuness" and asks for his aid. Transporting him to the Hara-Hara World, she charges him with reviving the Guardian Knights. To do this, Lamuness must locate and activate a shrine that houses Tama-Q, an Advisor Robot, and obtain the key to free the Knights. While the Guardian Knights operate independently as mechas, King Sccasher is piloted directly by Lamuness. His enemies include Don Harumage and his henchmen, Da Cider and Lesuka.

The Iron Fist Chinmi, also known as Tekken, is a kung-fu adventure following a teenage boy who will master the art of kung-fu at a temple called Dairin Temple. The adventure is set against the backdrop of a vast China Kingdom with a rich history and enormous territory. This teenager’s name is Chinmi, and he is accompanied by a funny monkey commonly called Go Ku as he travels through the wide world of kung-fu. Chinmi is an orphaned teenager who has only an older sister, Mei Lin. Before Chinmi set out to explore his talent in kung-fu at Dairin Temple, the two of them lived near the Choko River in a small restaurant they owned. It was Master Yosen who first gave Chinmi an inner-power kung-fu style, which becomes the primary technique Chinmi relies on in every fight during his adventure.
