She is rescued by Sousuke, a young boy living with his mother, Lisa, in a coastal town while his father, Koichi, works as a fisherman at sea. After using her magic to heal a cut on Sousuke's finger, the boy names her Ponyo. Ponyo's father, Fujimoto, a sorcerer who left human life to dwell beneath the waves, frantically searches for his daughter. Upon finding her, Ponyo rejects her original name and insists on becoming human. Using some of Sousuke's blood, she transforms into a girl with arms and legs and returns to the surface. This transformation unleashes potent magic that disrupts the natural order, causing erratic tidal shifts and destabilizing the Moon's orbit. To correct this imbalance and grant Ponyo the chance to remain human, Sousuke must complete an ancient test together with his new friend.

In Natsume's Book of Friends, Takashi Natsume has long felt isolated because of his unique ability to see youkai. After being passed between various foster homes, he grew up in loneliness, learning to distance himself from others since he realized they would never accept his experiences. His life changes when he accidentally breaks a spiritual seal, releasing Madara, a powerful spirit who takes the form of a beckoning cat. Madara notices that Natsume strongly resembles his grandmother, Reiko Natsume, who was shunned for creating the Book of Friends—a tome capable of summoning the youkai whose names she had taken. Now holding this book, Natsume has no desire for its power; he simply wants to keep it as a memento of his grandmother and protect it from malicious youkai. He strikes a deal with Madara: once Natsume's life ends, Madara will claim the book, but until then, Madara will serve as Natsume's unofficial guardian, known as Nyanko-sensei. Determined to release the youkai that Reiko trapped, Natsume begins building connections between the human and youkai worlds, strengthening his bonds with both realms.

In pursuit of an alien fugitive named Geega, Birdy Cephon Altera, a spirited officer of the Space Federation, finds herself on Earth. Geega has assumed human form and slipped into the fashion industry, prompting Birdy to adopt a new identity as "Shion Arita" and join a modeling agency. During the day, she works as a promising model, while at night, she continues her mission to capture intergalactic criminals. Concurrently, Tsutomu Senkawa, an average high school student, and a friend explore an abandoned building, unknowingly converging on the same site where Birdy is tracking Geega. Tsutomu briefly sees them fighting until Geega takes him hostage. In her assault on Geega, Birdy inadvertently kills Tsutomu but, overwhelmed with grief, merges his consciousness into her own body to save him. As a result, Birdy and Tsutomu must coexist within one body, managing Tsutomu’s high school responsibilities, Shion Arita's burgeoning modeling career, and Birdy's escalating tasks as a Federation officer.

In a town submerged beneath ever-rising waters, an elderly man must continuously add new floors to his house to stay above the flood. His world is turned upside down when his beloved pipe falls into the depths. As he descends into the lower levels of his home, he also delves into memories of a long-gone era. "La Maison en Petits Cubes" is a short film that examines the lasting effects of time on human life, showing how the past can be entirely enveloped and how one must find the resilience to keep moving forward regardless.

In "Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior," the legendary Renegade Pokémon Giratina encounters the Temporal Pokémon Dialga near a lake and pulls it into its own realm, an alternate dimension separate from the main world. During this disturbance, a small green Pokémon gets caught in the chaos but manages to escape. Dialga uses this opportunity to flee before Giratina can capture it. When this green Pokémon accidentally disrupts a picnic between Satoshi and his friends, it is taken to a Pokémon Center for treatment, where it is identified as Shaymin, the mythical Gratitude Pokémon. Using telepathy, Shaymin asks Satoshi, Hikari, and Takeshi to take it to a certain place. Before they can determine the destination, they find themselves pursued by both Giratina and an enigmatic individual named Zero, who are both aiming to capture Shaymin. Can Satoshi and his companions safely lead Shaymin to its intended location while avoiding these looming dangers?

By the year 2029, the concept of national borders has been rendered obsolete by the global network; humans enhanced with cybernetic parts inhabit digital realms, monitored by law enforcement agencies capable of transferring their consciousness into powerful, crime-fighting mecha suits. The ultimate covert operative of this era is not a biological being, lacks a physical form, and can traverse the world's information networks at will, hacking and manipulating data whenever and wherever necessary. Note: Ghost in the Shell 2.0 is an updated edition of the original 1995 film, created as part of the celebrations surrounding the release of The Sky Crawlers in 2008. For Version 2.0, the entire animation was remade using state-of-the-art techniques including 3D-CGI, and the soundtrack underwent a remastering process. All voice acting was re-recorded. A notable change is that the character "Puppet Master" was recast from Kayumi Iemasa to Sakakibara Yoshiko, and some dialogue lines were altered from the original version. Kawai Kenji remixed the music in 6.1 channel surround sound, and Randy Thom from Skywalker Sound joined as Sound Designer to enhance the audio quality.

Hakufu's plans to take part in new battles and competitions are put on pause when various obstacles arise in her path. In this two-episode finale, the third term concludes as Karasuma departs for America. The series examines whether Harima will ultimately reveal his emotions and explores what lies ahead for Tenma and Karasuma's relationship.

Sands of Destruction is a spinoff of the Nintendo DS RPG released by SEGA in Japan in July 2008. In this universe, humans are treated as livestock by the ruling beastmen, and sand acts as both water and fire. Kyrie is recruited by the "World Destruction Committee" to assist them in destroying their world, with only she having the required power to do so.

Sesshoumaru has long felt resentment toward his half-brother Inuyasha for inheriting their father's legendary Tessaiga, while he himself was left with the healing blade Tenseiga. Yoyogi agrees to restore Tamaki to her original form if Takane wins a race against him using the broken bicycle. Can Takane win the race to rescue Tamaki?
