Duke Fleed is a survivor from the planet Fleed who escaped to Earth aboard a mysterious spaceship, where he was raised by Dr. Umon as his adopted son and given the name Daisuke Umon. Years after his arrival, he faces the threat of King Vega and his army, who seek to conquer Earth. Alongside his friends Koji and Hikaru—and later his younger sister, Maria Grace—Duke decides to fight back using his ultimate weapon: the mighty Grendizer.

Inspired by the classic narrative from The Thousand and One Arabian Nights, this adventure unfolds over 1,200 years in the past. Its protagonist is the impish Sindbad, a curious and mischievous boy who one evening slips into the royal palace to observe acrobatic shows and discovers that a vast world exists beyond Baghdad. After learning about the journeys of his uncle, Captain Ali, Sindbad resolves to become a sailor and explore the globe. Leaving a message for his father, the young Sindbad embarks on Captain Ali's vessel—accompanied by a myna bird named Sheila—and begins the greatest voyage of his life.

Hiroshi Shiba, a skilled car racer, finds his father murdered after the discovery of the Bronze Bell, an artifact from an ancient civilization. Queen Himika of the Yamatai Kingdom, who hails from that same era, covets the Bell and seeks to use it to conquer the world. From his father, Hiroshi inherits relics that allow him to transform into a full-sized mecha warrior known as Steel Jeeg. With his father's consciousness stored in a computer and the support of Miwa "Micchi" Uzuki, Hiroshi fights to thwart Queen Himika's plans for global domination.

Dr. Kieta, the creator of a time-travel device, becomes stranded during a test voyage to the prehistoric era. When the timeship comes back to the present, his young aides are astonished to discover only a parrot inside the cabin. Racing to rescue the missing scientist before time runs out, the children embark on a time-space search with no specific destination in mind.

Ikkyu, a young boy studying to become a monk at Ankokuji Temple, is both mischievous and clever. Despite his tendency to cause trouble, he uses his sharp mind to devise schemes that outsmart his exasperated teachers while also lending a hand to those around him.

This comedy follows a former genius who has turned very eccentric and senile. His family deals with the crazy problems he and his old friends cause around the neighborhood.

This is the quest of Pepero and his friends in search of the Golden Condor or el Dorado.

This anime is based on the same work as the famous American live-action TV series Little House on the Prairie.
